Market makers
In order to enhance the liquidity and thus attractiveness of the Baltic market, the Baltic exchanges have introduced a market making (liquidity provider) program.
Market makers (liquidity providers) provide extra assurance to investors, as their task is to maintain the supply and demand of specified shares in the continuous trading segment within a certain price spread. Investor benefits include reduced investors' liquidity cost and reduced risk through more efficient pricing. Market makers make listed companies more attractive for investors, especially those seeking large-size investments. | Market makers at NASDAQ OMX Tallinn | | Ticker | Issuer | Minimum listed quantity | Market makers | | - | - | - | - | Market makers at NASDAQ OMX Riga | | Ticker | Issuer | Minimum quote size | Market Makers | | - | - | - | - | | Market makers at NASDAQ OMX Vilnius | | Ticker | Issuer | Minimum quote value | Market Maker | | CTS1L | City Service | 300 EUR | Orion Securities | | VLP1L | Vilkyškių pieninė | 300 EUR | Orion Securities | | GRG1L | Grigiškės | 300 EUR | Orion Securities | | OAMOBBF1L | OMX Baltic Benchmark Fund | 300 EUR | Orion Securities | | AVG1L | Agrowill Group | 300 EUR | Orion Securities |
