Securities listing


NASDAQ OMX Baltic exchanges provide regulated market listing services with regard to variety of financial instruments, together with services related to public trading of financial instruments. When seeking for listing, the issuer may choose between the regulated markets organized by Baltic exchanges depending on the type of the financial instrument.   

The lists mentioned below comprise financial instruments traded on any of three Baltic exchanges. However, legally the listing is either in Tallinn, Riga or Vilnius and the oversight is carried out by the financial supervisroy authority and the stock exchange of the respective country.  

 

Regulated market

Regulated market is a set of organizational, legal and technical arrangements that enables trading in financial instruments in an open manner and on a regular basis. Listing on a regulated market, organization and procedure of trading as well as issuer surveillance is implemented in compliance with the European Union standards and directives.  A regulated market is subject to both stock exchange and respective financial market regulator's oversight.

On the Baltic regulated market, financial instruments may be listed in one of the following lists:

  • Baltic Main list (equities)
  • Baltic Secondary list (equities)
  • Baltic Bond list (debt securities)
  • Baltic Fund list (investment fund units)

 

Alternative market

Companies on the alternative marketplace are subject to less stringent requirements if compared to the regulated market. Trading and company surveillance is done jointly by the stock exchange and certified advisers. This marketplace run by the stock exchange is designated for small growth companies. Companies on the alternative market are traded on the following list:

  • First North (equities)
